A small bathhouse built around the natural boulders that give it its name, a few minutes' walk from Bessho-Onsen Station. The water is free-flowing but partly filtered and recirculated, and there is nothing here except the bath - the usual arrangement in this village.

Indoor bath

Indoor bath built around natural boulders, which is where the name comes from. Fed by the No.4 source, free-flowing with some filtration and recirculation. Known locally as the bath where Sanada Yukimura is said to have hidden.

In the Bessho Onsen village, a short walk from Bessho-Onsen Station on the Ueda Dentetsu Bessho line (change at JR Ueda Station on the Hokuriku Shinkansen). All three bathhouses are within a few minutes' walk of each other.
