Bessho's central 300-yen bathhouse, drawing on its own O-yu source alongside the No.4 source, with some filtration and recirculation. The three village bathhouses each close on a different weekday, so plan around that; each is a bath and nothing more.

Indoor bath fed by the No.4 source together with its own O-yu source, free-flowing with some filtration and recirculation. Tied in local legend to Kiso Yoshinaka and the Hojo clan.

Day visit price: ¥300
300 yen flat. Children of elementary school age and under bathe free on the 26th of each month. Coin-return valuables lockers; the women's side has a coin hairdryer.
Staying overnight: No
Getting there: In the Bessho Onsen village, a short walk from Bessho-Onsen Station on the Ueda Dentetsu Bessho line (change at JR Ueda Station on the Hokuriku Shinkansen). Walkable from the other two bathhouses in a few minutes.
