Guests with tattoos are refused entry to the facility, so private baths are not an option either.

The baths
Open-air bath
MT FUJI VIEW: the 'Reiho Rotenburo' (sacred-peak open-air bath) and the 'Panorama Bath' are both built to look at Mt Fuji from the Narusawa lava plateau on Fuji's northern foot, with a 'Takami' high-level bath as well. Sixteen tubs in total, including a cave bath, a fragrance bath, a carbonated bath and a 16C spring-water plunge.
Private (kashikiri) bath
Private baths at 3,500 yen per room per 60 minutes, plus a large 'Geihin' private bath at 20,000 yen per room for 3 hours. NOTE: this does NOT help tattooed visitors, because the refusal is at the door.
A private bath means nobody else is in the water with you — often the practical answer if the shared baths are closed to tattooed guests.

- Day visit price
- ¥1,400Weekday adult rate for 10:00-19:00, including bath and face towel rental. Sat/Sun/holidays 1,700 yen; from 19:00 it drops to 1,200 / 1,500 yen. Spring and summer seasons, Golden Week, the New Year period and public holidays are all charged at weekend rates. Loungewear 500 yen, paid rest room 2,500 yen/hour.

- At 8532-5 Narusawa village (鳴沢村8532-5), on the road between Lake Kawaguchi and the Fuji-Subaru Line, near the Fugaku Wind Cave. Bus from Kawaguchiko Station or by car; about 10 min from Kawaguchiko IC.
