The most tattoo-tolerant of the Fuji-area bathhouses - cover stickers are sold at the desk - and the easiest to reach, right beside Fuji-Q Highland. It is however closed indefinitely following earthquake damage in June 2026, so it cannot currently be visited.

Indoor bath

A large hinoki bathhouse under a Kabuto-zukuri timber roof, with indoor and open-air baths and saunas; the operator describes the water as a blend of every spring type, unusual in Japan.

MT FUJI VIEW claimed for the stone-spa (ganban-yoku) area, which the operator describes as facing Mt Fuji head-on. The site does not make an explicit Fuji-view claim for the open-air bath itself.

Day visit price: ¥1,900
Weekday adult rate from April 2026 (raised from 1,600 yen); Sat/Sun/holidays 2,300 yen. LINE members pay 1,200 / 1,600 yen. Morning-bath rates and rates for guests of the attached hotel were left unchanged. NOTE: the facility is closed at the time of checking, so these rates are what will apply on reopening.

Getting there: At 4-17-1 Shin-Nishihara, Fujiyoshida city (富士吉田市新西原四丁目17番1号), beside the Fuji-Q Highland resort and walkable from Fujikyu Highland Station. CURRENTLY CLOSED - check the operator's site before travelling.
