The baths
Open-air bath
Two terraced open-air 'Tanayu' baths (garden view and Lake Ashi view), swapped between men and women evening and morning. Hours 15:00-24:00 and 5:00-10:00. Officially staying guests only.
Private (kashikiri) bath
Two semi-open-air private baths. RESERVATION REQUIRED and PAID: 40 minutes for 3,000 yen. Hours 15:00-22:00 and 7:00-9:30. The site does not explicitly state whether non-staying guests may book them, but the large baths are staying guests only.
In-room bath
SOME room types only have a private open-air bath (Japanese-Western Deluxe with open-air bath, Deluxe with open-air bath, Standard with open-air bath, Casual Twin with open-air bath); plain Standard, Casual Twin and Universal rooms have none.
A private bath means nobody else is in the water with you — often the practical answer if the shared baths are closed to tattooed guests.

- Nearest stop is Togendai on Lake Ashi, about 2 minutes on foot, reached by Izuhakone Bus J-line from Odawara or Hakone-Yumoto Station. A free direct shuttle runs between Odawara Station and the hotel three times daily each way by advance reservation, so a car is not needed; over 100 free parking spaces are available.
