Rated only on what could be verified: it is a large buffet hotel inside the Ikaho townscape, easy to reach by bus, and one of the few places in Ikaho that sells a straightforward bathing-only ticket with long hours, including a morning slot. The bath composition and spring source could not be confirmed because the hotel's onsen page renders only in a browser, so view, spring quality and comfort are left blank rather than guessed.

The baths

Indoor bath

A day ticket covers the hotel's large baths, and the unusual 7:00-10:00 morning slot means you can bathe before the hotel's own guests check out. Ikaho has two waters and English-language guides rarely explain the difference: Kogane-no-yu ('golden water') is the historic iron-bearing sulphate spring that turns rust-brown on contact with air, while Shirogane-no-yu ('silver water') is a weak, clear, odourless metasilicic-acid water tapped much later.

Weekday adult 1,150 yen; weekends and public holidays 1,400 yen; peak dates 1,600 yen. Elementary school children 440 / 550 / 630 yen, under-6s free. Prices include consumption and bathing tax. Towel rental 330 yen. No reservation needed for bathing, but entry can be refused when the baths are crowded. A separate dinner-buffet-plus-bath package (advance booking required) runs from 4,200 yen on weekdays.
