A renovated neighbourhood bathhouse with a serious sauna following, spotless and walkable from Higashi-Nakano Station. It is heated tap water rather than a hot spring, there is nowhere to linger afterwards, and the sauna draws queues at peak times.

Scored from official photos, maps and transport information — not from a visit.

The baths

Indoor bath

A renovated neighbourhood bathhouse with a strong sauna following. The official site does NOT claim natural hot spring water, so assume ordinary heated water rather than onsen. Foreign visitors often expect 'onsen' here and should not.

Open to day visitors
