The larger and more comfortable of the two Matsunoyama day-use baths, with a restaurant attached. Its distinguishing feature is the weekend and holiday opening at 5:00 in the morning, which is unusual anywhere in Japan.

Adults (junior high school and above): from opening until 17:00, 800 yen on weekdays and 850 yen at weekends and on holidays; from 17:00 until closing, 700 yen on weekdays and 750 yen at weekends. Elementary school children 400 yen. The 700 yen recorded here is the lowest adult rate. Closed on Tuesdays.

- At 1252-1 Matsunoyama Yuyama in Tokamachi City, a little outside the Matsunoyama hamlet itself. Reached by car, or by bus from Matsudai Station on the Hokuhoku Line. Deep snow country - allow extra time in winter.
