An inn founded in 1875 on the Myoban hillside, with the milky blue-white sulphur water the district is known for in indoor rock baths and a garden open-air bath. It takes overnight guests only, and getting there means a 25 to 30 minute bus ride up from Beppu Station.

No day-use bathing at all - the ryokan states this outright. Many Japanese blogs confuse it with the separate Yamanoyu bath run by the same family's shop, which is itself suspended from April 2026.

In the Myoban district, founded 1875 and one of the oldest inns there. Buses 5, 41 (Beppu Station west exit, about 26 min) or 24 (east exit, about 30 min) to Myoban.
