The baths
Indoor bath
One indoor bath each for men and women (alkaline simple spring, Ohiradai source). Staying guests 13:00-24:00 and 5:00-10:00; day visitors 13:00-20:00 (last entry 19:30).
Open-air bath
One open-air bath each for men and women, ringed by cypress forest, fed by an acidic Owakudani source. Located in the Honkan building only (there is no bath in the Bekkan annex).
In-room bath
ALL guest rooms (both Honkan and Bekkan) have a private open-air hot-spring bath; staying guests only.
A private bath means nobody else is in the water with you — often the practical answer if the shared baths are closed to tattooed guests.

- From Hakone-Yumoto Station take the Hakone Tozan Bus bound for Togendai (about 30 minutes) and get off at Daigatake, 1 minute on foot. No inn shuttle is offered, but free on-site parking is available (20 spaces Honkan / 15 Bekkan), so a car is optional.
